Winter has arrived as AEW crashes into North Texas for Dynamite: Winter is Coming. Thousands in attendance gathered at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas for a special episode edition of the weekly hit show. Having four announced, anticipated wrestling matches on the card it was surely going to be a night many will remember. As the show went live on TNT and the pyro went off it was time for the opening bout which it was the main event for the AEW World Championship. “Hangman” Adam Page defended his AEW title against the veteran, Bryan Danielson. This would be the first time Adam Page would defend his World championship since defeating Kenny Omega at the annual Pay-Per-View, Full Gear. From the crowd’s reaction, Page versus Danielson was going to be a crowd pleaser. A match that lasted an hour, with a lot of back and forth action showing off both of the wrestlers’ techniques. After reaching the 60-minute time limit, the match ended in a draw, allowing “Hangman” Adam Page retain the AEW World Championship.

Dynamite also featured Wardlow versus Matt Sydal. A short match where Wardlow picked up the victory, but also made fans get behind him. The next match was Hikaru Shida against Serena Deeb. Shida would go on picking up the victory over Serena Deeb. MJF versus Dante Martin for the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring. Before the match MFJ cut another heel promo on CM Punk continuing their rivalry. The match was fast-paced with tons of high spots. At the end, MJF would go on and pick up the victory and making him 3rd time winner of the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring.
