Trinity of Terror Tour @ South Side Ballroom, Dallas, TX

The Trinity of Terror tour featuring Black Veil Brides, Ice Nine Kills, and Motionless in White made a stop at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. What was a cold winter night in December became a hot-summer like night when three of today’s popular bands headlines under the same roof.

Opening the show, Black Veil Brides took the stage playing hits from all of their studio releases. Fan favorites like "Faithless", "Fallen Angels", and "In the End" were all present. Up next was Ice Nine Kills, a band I was not familiar with, as this was the first time I was seeing or even hearing of them. I was astonished by their sound but most importantly by their horror-movie theatrics that they brought to the stage. From Friday the 13th to a Leatherface tribute, everything was there. They performed hits like "Funeral Derangements", "Stabbing in the Dark", "The American Nightmare", and closing off their set with "Welcome to Horrorwood".

Motionless in White closed the night, as fans roared as the band took the stage. In support of their latest release, Scoring the End of the World, Motionless performed five of the songs from the album. One of the standout moments was when the band invited out the Cherry Bombs to perform with them on stage. An 11-song set, with even a cover of "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers, sent the thousands in attendance home happy.
