I live in Norman, which is less than 20 minutes from Oklahoma City, and I have yet to see the Flaming Lips. How ironic is that? Perhaps I should finally see them during their second New Year's Eve show in as many years at the Cox Convention Center in Downtown OKC. I have heard their shows are awesome and I can see why:
There are some great shows coming up the next couple of weeks, all of which will be played at the Opolis, located in Norman. A nice, small venue that attracts a lot of great indie talent. Good times is what it is.
