When I look back at the rock bands of the last twenty years, there are a handful of meaningful bands that have stood the test of time. While many of these bands faced adversity and felt the ups and downs of touring, pressures of the music industry, or any variation of obstacles, they have pushed forward and continued to create music. One of these bands is Fall Out Boy. If you would have asked me twenty years ago if I thought Fall Out Boy would still be a band in 2023, I would have probably shrugged my shoulders and say something snarky like, "not likely."
My twenty-year-old self would have thought you were lying if he was told that not only are they still a band, but one of the most successful rock bands in the world. It's true. They have stood the test of time and continue to build on twenty years of music, performing to thousands at amphitheaters and arenas, making new fans while their ride of dies are still riding alongside, and they have no plans on slowing down. Their show at the Dos Equis Pavilion was a clear sign that this band knows what the people want and will deliver a polished product to the masses, as long as they want them around. Guessing by the sold out crowd, they will always want more.
