Kehlani / Rico Nasty @ South Side Ballroom, Dallas, TX

Live at the South Side Ballroom this past Sunday, Kehlani performed her second show in Dallas on her Blue Water Road Trip Tour. After a sold out show the night before, Kehlani's faithful fans packed the Ballroom once again to catch of glimpse of the Blue Water Road Trip Tour. To get the night started, Rico Nasty came out and performed songs that had the crowd singing at the top of their lungs the entire set. When Rico sang her song “Blow Me”, the entire crowd went crazy. After her set the crowd was super hyped and ready for Kehlani.

Kehlani began her set with her touching song “Altar”, the lead single from her third studio album, Blue Water Road. During this song, the lights were all dimmed except for the blue spotlight she sang under directly center stage. While Kehlani performed, she had four talented female backup dancers that surrounded her.

Kehlani not only performed songs off her newest album, but also her older albums like While We Wait, SweetSexySavage, and It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. The crowd loved all the new music but screamed with excitement when some of their old favorites played.

After Kehlani’s long performance, she had one song left. She sang “CRZY”, her first single from the aforementioned 2017 release, SweetSexySavage. This is one of my favorite songs and it was even better live. The entire crowd was dancing and singing along throughout the entire song. It was an amazing ending to a great show.
