A.Dd+ DiveHiFlyLo Release @ Granada Theater, Dallas, TX

What else can be said about this show that hasn't already been said?  Inside the Granada Theater, the dynamic duo of Paris Pershun and Slim Gravy, or A.Dd+, put on a spectacular performance during their release show for DiveHiFlyLo.  If you think about it, this isn't as uncommon as one would think but the magnitude of this show really highlights the group's ascension into the Dallas music elite.  Paired with none other than DJ Sober, the men of A.Dd+ made it a point that this was much more than just a release show.  It was a celebration.  A victory lap.  The top of the mountain that took years to climb and one night to shout from the mountain top.  But the best part of this amazing milestone, it looks like this is only the beginning.

It's a rare thing for a show to be great from top to bottom.  But this show was a rarity.  From the onset, you could feel the excitement in the air.  The buzz had grown, as did the crowd, and everybody was in for a night of excellent performances by some of Dallas's best.  Surrounding themselves with friends, A.Dd+ brought along the likes of -topic, Tunk, BrainGang, Picnictyme (who also hosted the night's affair) and a special appearance from Dallas rap icon, Tum Tum.  The lineup was stacked and every person who stepped foot upon the Granada stage set out to put on their best performance possible.  Disappointment is not a word that would describe any part of this show.  The men of A.Dd+ captivated the Granada faithful with their 70+ minute set and literally surrounded themselves with their friends as their dynamic performance came to an end.  To feel the intensity and honesty of this show, one could only hope you were in attendance.  But here are what my camera and I saw that night that can hopefully paint a picture:

-topic
Tunk
Brain Gang
 A.Dd+
enjoy.
