Wiz Khalifa and Logic teamed up to put together one of the best hip-hop shows I’ve ever seen. Preforming live at the Dos Equis Pavilion, Logic and Wiz Khalifa had the outdoor pavilion filled from the stage all the way to the lawn.

The openers C Dot Castro, Fedd the God, DJ Drama, and 24K Goldn kept the crowd engaged and excited all the way until the sun went down. Fedd the God preformed his song “Shoulda Been A Hot Boy” and I watched the whole front row rap every word along with him. 24K Goldn followed shortly after and bursted onto the stage preforming his hit song, “Valentino”. He kept the crowd hyped as he jetted from one side to the next. Throughout the opening acts DJ Drama played some of his most popular songs. They all put on great sets and kept the entire crowd engaged until dark. Being able to watch them preform during the sunset was amazing.

After all the openers left the stage and the stage crew finished setting up, the stage was dark and the entire pavilion was quiet. When Logics set began the pavilion lit up and the crowd erupted with excitement. His set began with “Keanu Reeves”, a song off his 2019 album Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. All of the die-hard Logic fans sang a long without missing a single lyric. His next song “Like Woah” was from his 2015 album The Incredible True Story, one of my favorite albums by Logic. It was amazing to be able to hear his new music live but even cooler to hear his older songs.

Once Logic finished his set Wiz Khalifa followed next. He entered the stage with a flashy bomber jacket with “Daddy”, written on the back and a joint in his hand. Wiz preformed his 2014 song, “We Dem Boyz”, to kick off his set. The entire pavilion was hazy and you could see puffs of smoke in every section. After his song he told the crowd that Dallas smoked the most weed the entire tour and then passed his own joint to someone in the crowd before playing his next song, “Black and Yellow”. Wiz Khalifa’s set was fun and super entertaining to watch.

The Vinyl Verse Tour was an incredible show. It didn’t feel like just a Logic show or just a Wiz Khalifa show, but a show for people who enjoy hip-hop music.
