Brandon Paak Anderson, aka Anderson.Paak, brought his The Best Teef In the Game Tour to the Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX.  Riding high on his latest effort, Ventura, the wonder kid from California brought a huge catalog of music to Texas, resulting in a 24-song setlist including "Trippy", "Tints", "Come Home" and the wonderful sounding track from Ventura, "Make It Better".  The production of this tour was first-class, with a giant stage built of elevated LED panels, projecting graphics and videos to go along with the music, brought to you by the Free Nationals.  But a multi-talented artist like Anderson.Paak could wow a crowd with a mic, his voice and some dance moves alone.  But Paak brought more than a few good songs and a light show, he brought unrivaled swagger, honest to goodness positivity, and present day awareness that captivated the crowd.  The energy in the Pavilion was second to none, as Paak turned thousands of individuals into a single entity that he could control with a snap of his fingers.  It was amazing to witness.  While Paak was the main draw of this tour, he brought an eclectic opening lineup including the masterful Thundercat and the always entertaining, Mac Demarco.  Needless to say, this was a fun show from top to bottom and I can't wait for another round of funkadelic music and good vibes from Paak.

enjoy.
