As you can tell, I haven't been to a concert this week. It's been a bit odd since I was going full-throttle for about a month. I do have the cure though; MORE SHOWS!!! Going to Insound's 10th Anniversary Party at Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday, including sets by Cymbals Eat Guitars, These Are Powers, the Drums and Real Estate; should be quite the time. Also, I plan on seeing D.I.M. (Boys Noize Records) this Friday at Webster Hall and, weather permitting, Grizzly Bear at the Williamsburg Waterfront as part of the Pool Parties on Sunday. I really wanted to get good footage of Grizzly Bear but I am now semi-employed and have to work up until 2pm, so I will have to settle for okay footage. Oh well, should be a great show regardless. If anybody has any suggestions for bands to see or which songs to capture during these shows, please drop me a line. Until I have new footage, I'll leave you with these gems from yesteryear.enjoy.
