Rammstein stormed into Dallas to perform to a sold out crowd at the Starplex Pavilion in Fair Park.  The German shock rockers brought an enormous stage setup, complete with enough pyrotechnics that would have made KISS jealous; seriously, the front barricade was pushed back 25+ feet clear of the stage, where any other show would see the barricade about six feet away.  Their sound was full, vicious, and loud, complete with Till Lindemann's deep, forceful voice.  The majority of the band's set came from 2001's Mutter (six songs total) and the setlist itself was a solid 17 songs in length.  Much like other must-see rock bands, Rammstein doesn't need a new release to sell out stadiums and amphitheaters, all they need is a kick ass show, complete with one of the world's best stage productions and a pyrotechnic technician that's willing to unleash the Fourth of July at every stop of their tour.  They are not to be missed if/when they make a stop near your town (which is highly unlikely, as their tours of the US have been swift and rare).

enjoy.
