Upcoming: Crystal Castles @ House of Blues, Dallas, TX

Remember that little spat between Crystal Castles and Granada?  Yeah, I knew you totally forgot about that minor blurb in Dallas music history.  Yes, Dallas and CC have had their differences but that doesn't mean we can't all get along next Monday at the House of Blues.  The duo of Alice Glass and Ethan Kath (including live drummer Christopher Chartrand) return to Dallas's House of Blues for the first time since their 2010 show at the same venue.

Since their last stop in Dallas, the duo have released their third album, appropriately named (III).  A bit of a departure from their 8-bit anthems of their first two releases, Kath and Glass bring more doom and gloom, a more aggressive sound but their overall ambitiousness and intensity is still ever present.  This bodes well as they have made quite a name for themselves as an excellent live act and I'm sure Monday night will be no different.  Trust me, I hold live performances to a high standard and after seeing this group two times, they have yet to disappoint.

Opening is Doldrums.  Tickets still available via Live Nation; $25 for GA, $35 for Balcony.
